How to access the features on account.kp.org

Not all users will have access to every feature listed below. Access is dependent upon your access rights and the type of account you registered for.

You’re a licensed and appointed broker

Step 1

Register for an account to get access to these features on account.kp.org for your book of business.

  • Review group renewals and make plan changes
  • Quote and enroll new clients
  • View and download your client list
  • View and download group membership lists
  • View and download group-specific documents (contracts, renewal packets, Large Group SBCs, group bills)
  • Commission (available in CA region only)*

*Access is dependent on your account type and available only in California.

Step 2

Delegate access to these features to others in your firm, such as support staff or another broker, once they have registered for an account.

  • Log in to account.kp.org
  • Under “Your account” select “Delegation”
    OR
  • From “Access and Delegation” under “Manage your delegates”

Step 3

Request permission from the Primary Group Administrator for each of your clients to get access to these group specific “Manage members” features. Global access to these features is not available at this time.

  • Enrolling and terminating new members
  • Updating member information
  • Requesting member ID cards

Before access can be delegated to you, the following steps must be completed by the group. More detailed information for your clients on these steps is available here.

1.Group contract signer completes the online Group Administrator User Registration Agreement to designate the Primary Group Administrator.

2.The designated Primary Group Administrator will receive an email with instructions and an access code.

3.The designated Primary Group Administrator (if different from the contract signer) registers for an account on account.kp.org and enters the access code provided in the email to connect their account to the group’s information.

Once the Primary Group Administrator has linked their account.kp.org access to the group, they can delegate access to you for the group specific “Manage members” features by signing on to account.kp.org and navigating to the “Your account” tab, clicking on “Manager user access,” and completing the “Add user” steps.

Step 4

When the group has delegated access to you, you’ll receive an email containing an access code.

Within 7 days of receiving the code:

  • Log in to account.kp.org
  • Under “Your account” select “Delegation” then “Enter access code”
    OR
  • From “Access and Delegation” under “Enter your delegated access code”
You’re supporting a licensed and appointed broker

Step 2

If a broker in your firm has delegated access to you, you’ll receive an email containing your access code.

  • Log in to account.kp.org
  • Under “Your account” select “Delegation” then “Enter access code”
    OR
  • From “Access and Delegation” under “Enter your delegated access code”

Once you’ve entered your access code, you’ll be able to access some or all of these features on behalf of the broker and the broker’s clients, depending on the level of access you’ve been granted. If you’re supporting more than one broker, each broker will need to delegate access to you.
